Artists Help Japan!

It's nice to see artists and DJs, of all types of nationalities coming together to raise funds for Japan for its recovery of its recent tragic events. This Sunday I will be DJing at Revival bar (783 College St) from 1pm (party starts at 12 noon!) alongside many DJs, for the cause. All proceeds from the event are going to the Canadian Red Cross. Thanks to all those who were able to make the event! Also thanks to all those (THE BEGUILING EVENTS GROUP!, Peter Chan, Jim Zubkavich, Christopher Butcher, Bobby Chiu, Alvin Lee) who organized this event for such a great cause.

It was really refreshing to see a club space during the day, standing behind DJ booth, and see people trickling in. The room was lined with super talented comic artists (including Michael Cho, Alvin Lee, Marcio Takara, and Eddie Vedder to name a few) on one side, with eager fans lining up for autographs and art. I ended up getting an awesome Bat Girl, drawn by Michael Cho for $5. A steal! Hopefully there will be more art and music events like this in the future.
